However, we're like a Production Broker.

We DO and CAN HIRE Production Companies, Producers,
Directors, Writers, SAG/Non-Union Talent, Graphic Animators, Crew, Equipment, and Catering for your Pilot Project - or Television Commercial (if you are an Advertiser).

We are experienced in all aspects of television, film, and video production and can save you MONEY by budgeting, and hiring the most suitable professionals for your demo or pilot program!

Questions from PRODUCERS/CREATORS

Q: I have an idea for TV show. Where do I start?

A: Go to our Producers Page and fill out the form!
There will be no obligation to us and it will help you think through some important items.

-----
Q: How does it work after I submit my idea to Producers Ink?

A: If your idea has strong commercial and creative merit, we will contact you to see if we can move forward on it.

-----
Q: How do I protect my awesome show idea?

A: Never share it with anyone, including us!

Ok, aside from that, you can write up a treatment or script and register it with the Writers Guild of America.

However, to work with us - or most Distribution Companies (Network & Cable Channels), you will need to sign a release, giving away some of your rights. Why? Well, some companies may already have a similar or exact same idea as your show. If they reject your idea, then produce what you were pitching, you'll think they ripped you off - and possibly try to litigate against them.

-----
Q: How much does Producers Ink charge for consultation?

A: We charge $155.00 per hour of consultation on your idea or already produced demo pilot. If you have a great demo and marketing package already done, just 1 hour of our consult might be needed to help polish your project and help avoid being rejected by Distributors.

-----
Q: How much does Producers Ink charge* for selling my show?

A: We charge a small flat percentage of gross under a simple, nonrestrictive sales deal. We derive the percentage based on how challenging it will be to sell your program. (*Modest administration costs are charged.)

-----
Q: We've made a demo/pilot. We love it but it has been rejected by because of quality issues...er, we think! Can you help?

A: Yes! Of course, it will be better if we had gotten to you BEFORE you produced your demo or pilot, because now you are probably facing re-shooting and/or re-editing which can be quite costly. Nevertheless, we can consult and identify quality issues which will be help you get closer to your goal of selling.

-----
Q: I have this great idea... but I WANT to be the STAR of my show!

A: Hey, it might very well work - as long as you are comfortable in front of a camera/lights/crew, personable, dynamic, charismatic, voice trained, composed, relatively attractive without any non-relavant physical distractions, articulate, expert and authority of your subject matter, can think on your feet, have had large group speaking or acting classes, and tremendous energy and good health (or most combination of the above).

However, if you can or are willing put your program concept ahead of your goal of tv personality fame - and be a behind the scenes producer or writer, you will probably have a better chance of making it a television reality!

Hire us as consultants, and we'll let you know your strengths. Hire us to produce your show and play
any part you want!

-----
Q: Can you staff my show with talent, crew, and equipment?

A: Yes - and funny you should ask. We recently reached out to a talented Chef who placed an ad on Craigslist. He was looking for an Executive Producer and had a unique idea. He emailed us back - but quickly ended up going with a production studio.

Know what they did for him? They put an ad on Craigslist calling out for production crew!!!

Producers Ink LLC has experienced production vendor resources all over the United States. We don't need to go to Craigslist to staff any project.

-----
Q: Can you help me secure financing?

A: Yes, for the right project at the right time for the right person.

Q: What makes your clients and projects so special?

A: We only work with clients whom are dedicated, believe in their program endeavors, are open-minded and flexible to doing what it takes to get their project to air.

If we pitch a project to you, we will have pre-vetted it specifically for your network brand and target audience. Producers Ink for? Hello?!

A: While Producers Ink is still new and growing, you can be assured that our submissions will address items important to you in terms of branding, production, and legal rights aspects.

-----
Q: You submitted a Show to our company. It's just not right for us at this time. What else have you got?

A: Producers Ink has 5 to 8 programs which we actively pitch at any one time. Some might be of the same genre. However, we do have a vault of dozens of other ideas, generated internally, that we'd love to share.

-----
Q: Do you have any HD shows ready to air?

A: No. We have many projects in pilot or demo stage which can easily be re-budgeted for HD - or unconverted from HDV to HD.

-----
Q: Some of the project graphics on your site look interesting, but there are no details about them. What gives?

A: Those projects are either in development or are top-secret due to their incredible value. Please feel free to inquire about them. They might be just right for you!
